Slope Bed

A low, modern, platform bed. It's construction is of ipe & maple. The design incorporates scrap ipe hardwood from carpentry projects. The pieces are laid out in a randomized decking arrangement that curves up from the platform into the headboard. The ipe is dyed black and finished with wax. Built on commission for a Manhattan studio apartment.
