Scraps Dining Table

A piece by Autumn-Workshop.

The Scraps Dining Table is made from hundreds of strips of repurposed black walnut and cherry. The form is derived with mid-century modernism in mind; a thin table top acts as the feature element and is complimented with elegantly tapered legs. The table top was carefully composed to create a random scattering of pieces that brings out the warmth and contrast of the two wood types together. The piece is finished with five coats of tung oil.
